Children's Mental Health Day- Art Contest
To draw attention to National Children's Mental Health Day (May 6), City Life 742 is sponsoring a district-wide art contest.
Our theme is; Resilience: What is it that helps you feel good about yourself and other people?
Entries will be divided into two categories, K-6 and 7-12, and the contest is open to students from any St. Cloud District 742 school. 1st place winners from each age group will receive a $50 gift card to Crossroads Mall; 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive a $25 gift card to Crossroads Mall. Entries must be delivered to City Life 742 by the end of the school day on Wednesday, April 28.
Artwork can be on any choice of paper, in any medium excluding photography, and can be no larger than 24" X 36". All entries must address the question on Resilience.
The contest will be judged at 1:00 on Saturday, May 1, at Barnes & Noble. All entries will be on display at that time, as well.
Students are NOT to put any identifying marks on the front of their artwork, however will need to put their names, grades, and schools on the back of the artwork. All artwork content must be appropriate in nature, according to school district guidelines.
