Governance Board
STARS for Children's Mental Health launched a regional governance structure to oversee grant implementation and system development. The governing body includes a broad and diverse group of public and private agency stakeholders, parents, youth and community members.
The role of the STARS Governing Board is to make sure the vision of a regional children’s mental health system of care is a shared vision and that grant activities are carried out. The STARS Board will monitor the system of care development; oversee quality assurance; establish and adapt priorities based on evaluation data and statewide legislative and fiscal changes; advise the mental health center board when specific actions are needed; and promote formal agreements between agencies serving children and families.
