24 Hour Crisis Phone Line - (800) 635-8008 or (320) 253-5555 The crisis phone line can help you with a mental health crisis when you aren't sure what to do or who to call. This line will help callers assess and stabilize the situation, then determine the next step. This may include connection with formal and/or informal resources and supports, referrals to mental health providers and/or community agencies, or face-to-face intervention with the mobile crisis response team.
Crisis Response Team - Available 7 days a week (including holidays) from 2 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. Sometimes you need help immediately. The Crisis Response Team can travel to your location and provide face-to-face intervention to help the individual in crisis cope with immediate stressors, identify and utilize available resources and strengths, and begin to return to the recipient's baseline level of functioning. Services may include:
· Crisis stabilization · Crisis prevention planning · Referrals · Follow-up services
This service is free for children and adolescents, ages 0 - 17. In addition, if parents/caregivers give consent, a STARS Care Coordinator will make a follow-up phone call to the family. If eligible, families will receive free care coordination services to help them navigate the children's mental health system.
