Mission: Youth Outreach for Military Families
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota are providing FREE MEMBERSHIPS to Clubs and the KIDSTOP after-schools program for families with caregivers who are National Guard, reserve, active, deployed or returning military personnel, good through Sept. 30, 2008.

Military children face special challenges, from long separations to worries about parents’ safety. These youth need the stability and predictability of Boys & Girls Club programs, caring guidance that club staff provide, and the chance to relax and have fun! Whether on- or off-base the Club is a place that offers a variety of educational, recreational, cultural and social activities for youth ages 5 – 18. Click here for details.

For more information on this project or to learn how to register your child, please contact the Boys & Girls Club at 320.252.7616.

Operation: SOS - Serving Our Soldiers
Operation SOS is a service based program designed to assist military personnel and their families during or following a deployment to a combat zone. It provides a safe place to connect with resources and apply for support services that can help get through everyday challenges. Operation SOS staff have compiled resources and are partnering with various companies and retailers in the community to attempt to give back and say thank you. Whether it is help with shoveling the snow, cutting the grass, purchasing a new appliance, or making needed repairs, SOS can help. There are no income restrictions and minimal paperwork to complete (families must reside in Benton, Sherburne, Stearns or Wright County). Call Tri-Cap at (320) 251-1612 for more information or click here for details.
