STARS Research Flash Talks

Are you curious about what other STARS academics have been working on lately? Are you interested in leveraging the network to team up for future grant applications, papers, and other potential collaborations?

Come join our first-ever STARS virtual flash talk event, where STARS members who have been involved in our mentorship program will be giving five-minute flash talks on their research. Each talk will be followed by a brief Q&A session to enable connection between speakers and other STARS members.

Register here and reach out if you would be interested in presenting your own work in the future!

Presenters:

  • Burak Sayin: Who Plays the City? Culture-Driven City Development

  • Kelley M. Swanberg, Ph.D.: In vivo proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H MRS): Metabolic imaging for translational insight into the mechanisms of neurodegeneration

  • Patrizia Vannini, Ph.D.: Can We Detect Alzheimer's Disease Before Memory Fails?
